Long time since i have postedI was quite busy with the holidays...yes....a homemaker can get busy during holidays with cooking and baking for the feast and entertaining the guest and "keeping up the appearence". After working on christmas decorations i took a short break from cross stitch and crochet. But don't worry i have few pictures to show you this time ...a crochet finish i did earlier, during christmas displays i thought i'll post this one later.
A fingerless mitten
 I got the inspiration from Pearlin's blog. The pattern is from Bron's blog. Bron has some beautiful patterns of her in her blog. If you are a crochet entusiastic it is worth visiting her blog.

The pattern is from crochetroo's blog . Her blog is also worth visiting if you are a crochet enthu. I have put my favorite handmade soap in it. It has an orange fragrance and i just love it.
i have to show you few pretty fabrics i got from Muscat. I didn't know that i could find such beautiful cotton fabric in Oman. Mamati guided me to a fabric store and i could choose few pretty fabs from there.
I just loved the yellow polka dots and took both the variations. Did you like that heart pattern fabs....it is my favorite. I was like a kid in a candy store .....Hope to visit that place again to see if i can find anything more. This year i'm thinking of keeping some time for sewing and finishing the cross stitch works i have done before. Now i found a place to get finishing fabric. So i think i'll get more interest for that. I was always thinking of making a cover for my sewing machine...i never got the mojo to do it....recently I did it...
I think sewing mojo is on for me ...i hope that it will last for some more time , so that i can finish some of my unfinished works. Thank you for all your comments in my previous post. crochet christmas tissue coverI got this idea of making the tissue cover from Yasmin's blog. Last year when I saw that finish, i wasn't smart enough to understand the pattern from the picutre. Like what she said i also don't have the pattern of it . i tried to use my beginner level crochet skill to make this looking at the finished piece..

Few cross stitched christmas finishThis is the first time i'm making cross stitched christmas cards for my dear ones. I attached a ribbon to it , so that they can use it as christmas ornament.
I'm planning to go to post office next saturday, so that i can send out my christmas cards. Is it too early.....I don't think so...I'm participating in Festive Stash Exchange by EMS . So i have to send out that packet also. Two packets to US and few to UAE and all the rest to India. I think it is better to send it early to avoid the delay. 2 more crossstitched ornaments to show.....
